My first trip to see the monuments was last August when I was 8 weeks old (and my mom was still paranoid about public places!)---now I can run and enjoy these tours. On this trip to DC I spent many hours at the Newseum (the highlight being the elevator ride) and time running around the Capitol. I even found some of the last of the fall leaves. I couldn't resist some playtime there!
